DESIGN PROJECTS
Although I am primarily concentrateing on the prints & Illustration side of my business, I simply love designing so when time allows, I fit logo & branding projects around building my business. Downsizing my career (I previously worked in magazine publishing - see my ABOUT page) has highlighted how passionate I am about the community we live in, I have really enjoyed helping local businesses.

Client : The Chiswick Cinema
Chiswick Cinema commissioned me to create the founders wall for the stairwell at the cinema. The piece features ten iconic Chiswick landmarks woven together with the names of the original 800+ cinema founders. At over two metres high & wide it was, until September 2024, literally the biggest thing I'd ever worked on!

Client : Battersea Power Station
Commissioned to create 10 large illustrated maps for the CelebrASIA festival at Battersea Power Station (13th - 15th September 2024)
The festival was a 3 day celebration of South East Asian heritage & culture. Each illustrated map represented a different country from ASEAN (Association of South East Asian Nations). The maps were part of a trail around Battersea Power Station taking young explorers on a Grand Tour of South East Asia, learning & reading interesting facts about each of the countries involved.
The maps featured: Brunei Darussalam, Cambodia, Indonesia, Lao PDR, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam.
Largest map: (Malaysia) 7.81m x 3.12m
Smallest map: (Singapore) 3.2m x 3.65m
Client : The Dodo Micropub, Hanwell
Lucy Do from The Dodo Micropub asked me to design her Dodo of Hanwell Gin during lockdown (June 2020). It was an instant success, 60 bottles selling out within 1 hour & 4minutes. I then designed The Dodo of Hanwell Winter Spiced Gin (December 2020) and then The Dodo of Hanwell Rum (June 2022)
I have also created T-shirt, sweatshirt & marketing poster designs for The Dodo Micropub too.
Client : Harvington Prep School Parents Association
Created a special commission to celebrate Harvington Prep School. After 133 years, this independent Ealing school closed its doors & merged with Durston House next door.
The tea towel was printed on 100% organic cotton, hemmed on all 4 sides with a handing hanging hoop too. Each one was individually hand-wrapped in a biodegradable cellophane bag with a bespoke belly band.
I also adapted the design to produce a small run of illustrated greeting cards so each of the teachers received a beautiful handwritten note from the Parents Association too.

I am a founder member of Home of Modern Makers. I designed the logo & continue to create all the marketing material for this evolving new venture.

Created gift tags for a Mother's Day promotion at the pub following the Six Nations Rugby England v Ireland game in March 2024

Client : Mooch
Back in March 2016 Mooch unveiled their first shop on Northfield Avenue (just around the corner from our house). It was brilliant to be asked to design their logo and I’m still just as proud when I walk past it everyday.
